Precise Construction of Discrete Plasmonic Nanostructures

报告摘要：Plasmonic nanostructures have attracted significant attentions for their widespread potential applications in light harvesting and ultrasensitive sensing, etc. As compared to top-down fabrication methods, bottom-up self-assembly strategy provides nanoscale resolution, parallel production and isotropic optical response, and therefore plays an indispensable role in fabrication of plasmonic nanostructures. In this talk, we will highlight the recent progress in our lab in precise construction of discrete plasmonic nanostructures with protein and DNA as templates by taking advantage of their rational design and predictable structures and functionalities.
